初めての北新地！/ The first time Kitashinchi

札幌出張のあとは東京には帰らずに、関空へ。

I didn't return to Tokyo after my business trip to Sapporo but went to Kansai Airport.
That night, we had a dinner date with my frequent client.
I came to a place called Kitashinchi for the first time.
I had lived in Kyoto for many years, but that was my first time! lol



何度もここでいいのか確認された、ダルマ。

他にもいっぱい驚いたこと、感動したこと、楽しかったこと沢山あったわ。
一番びっくりしたのは犬を連れて地下鉄やお店に入れること。
こんなの和む。

Many other things surprised me, moved me, and had a lot of fun.
What surprised me the most was that you could take dogs to the subway or the store.
It made me feel appeased.



ノイシュバンシュタイン城に行く時初めて馬車に乗ったよ。
馬ってすごい力持ちなのねぇ。

I rode in a carriage for the first time when I went to Neuschwanstein Castle.
Horses were so powerful.



儀仗兵の制服は大好き。
これはプラハ城。

I love the uniform of the honour guard.
That was Prague Castle.



ボッシュにクラーナハにミュシャにルーベンス。
お気に入りの画家の素晴らしい絵画をみれて満足。

Bosch, Cranach, Mucha and Rubens.
I was satisfied to see the beautiful paintings of my favourite painters.



今回は３週間程の旅程の間の半分くらいは一人旅だったの。
旅先では現地の方々みんな親切にしてくださって本当に有り難かったわ。

英語が通じなくてもグーグル翻訳アプリで会話出来たし！グーグルマップとタクシー配車アプリで迷うこともなく。
でもでも男性と女性の単語くらいは現地の言葉で覚えておくべきだなって思ったわ！
レストランのトイレでめっちゃ困ったもん。

This time, I travelled alone for about half of my three-week itinerary. I really appreciate the kindness of the local people during my trip.
Even though I couldn't communicate in English, we could still use the Google translation app to talk! I also used Google Maps and a taxi-hailing app, so I didn't get lost.
But I thought I should remember the words for men and women in the local language.
I had a terrible problem with the restrooms in the restaurant.

追悼の場　アウシュビッツ・ビルケナウ博物館
ナチスドイツ軍による最大の強制収容所。

おそらくポーランドで一番有名な場所。
私が見たクラクフなどよりも沢山の世界中から来た訪問者がいました。

Memorial and Museum Auschwitz-Birkenau
Former German Nazi concentraton and extermination camp.

Probably the most famous place in Poland.
There were more visitors from all over the world than I saw in Krakow.



希望を失った人が飛び込んで自殺した電流の流れる有刺鉄線。

These are the electric wires that the hopeless jump into and kill themselves.



ナチスは収容者から取り上げた貴重品、貴金属、綺麗な衣類などは厳重に倉庫にしまって管理したり、ドイツ本国に送ったりした。上等でも無い靴や価値のないものは処分する手間をかけるまでもなく適当に打ち捨てておいたらしい。
そしてそうやって価値の無いものとして無残に捨てられていたものたちが、今こうやって、残忍な犯罪の圧倒的な証拠として罪を問うている。

The Nazis kept valuables, precious metals and clean clothing from the internees in storages or sent them to Germany. Shoes that were not of good quality or of no value were discarded without much trouble.
And what has been so deserted as worthless is now condemned as overwhelming evidence of a cruel crime.



有名な引き込み線。
列車で囚人が直接収容所に運ばれた。

A famous lead-in line.
Prisoners were taken directly to the camp by train.



無残に殺された沢山のの人々の無念が漂っているような場所でした。

It was a place where the sadness of many people who were murdered was floating.

ザクセンハウゼン強制収容所/ The Sachsenhausen concentration camp・Travel log in EU2018

ベルリンにあるザクセンハウゼン強制収容所はドイツ国内外の強制収容所の雛型になるべく作られた場所。

The Sachsenhausen concentration camp in Berlin was a place that was designed to serve as a model for both German and foreign camps.



ベルリン中心地から外れた郊外で放射状にバラックを並べ、一つの見張り台から全てのバラックを見渡せるようになっている。
それぞれのバラックには１つ１つ標語が掲げてある。
「従順、勤勉、誠実、秩序、清潔さ、誠実さ、犠牲の意識と祖国への愛」
「そしてそれらが自由への道となる」
ハインリッヒヒムラーによって最初に定式化されたもの。

The SS man on "tower A." could see all blacks. The slogan on the barracks reads "There is one way to freedom. Its milestones are: obedience, hard work, honesty, order, cleanliness, charity, truthfulness, sense of sacrifice and love for the Fatherland" It was painted onto the front ends of the barracks in 1939. The words were originally formulated by Heinrich Himmler.

It was an exhibition where we could see the people who became crazy and participated in the genocide, the organisations that were trying to make it rational, and the researchers who were devoting themselves to research in a criminal way to pursue distorted ideas or their interests.

旅行に行った時期が1１月末から12月はじめだったので、クリスマスマーケット沢山見たよ。
一番素敵だったのがクラクフ。
もう、馬車にツリーとかすっごくロマンティック。

I went on a trip from the end of 11 to the beginning of December, so I saw a lot of Christmas markets.
The most wonderful one was Krakow.
It was so romantic to see a carriage and a Christmas tree.



プラハも綺麗だったな。
オールドタウンスクエアのところ。

Prague was beautiful, too.
Old Town Square.



泊まっていたホテルの窓からもクリスマスマーケットが眺められて、ああ別世界みたいって思いながら毎晩眠りについてたわ。

I could see the Christmas market from the window of the hotel where I stayed, and I slept every night thinking it was like in a fantasy world.



これもプラハ。

That was Prague, too.



なまはげみたいな怪物が出てくる日があるのよ。
もちろん子供はみんなギャン泣き。
可愛い。

There were days when monsters like Namahage in Japan appear.
Of course, every child cried.
So cute.



でもやはり一番のクリマのメッカはドイツなのかな。
ベルリンに滞在した時はひな女王様といくつもいくつもハシゴしたよ。

But I wonder if Germany is the mecca for Christmas markets.
When I stayed in Berlin, I hung around with mistress Hina every night.



移動遊園地があるクリマ見つけたので、もちろんお化け屋敷入ったよ！

やはり白い着物の髪の長い女とか全然出てこなくて、ゴスな女の子とか蜘蛛とか出てきて、最後はチェーンソー持った連続殺人犯みたいなのに追っかけられるの。
カルチャーギャップ最高。

I found a Christmas market which has a mobile amusement park, so of course, I entered the haunted house!

The culture gap is awesome.

何か神秘的なもの、儀式などには大いに興味あります
SMもそうだと思っているし。
教会や神社仏閣はよく行くよ。

今回の旅行もいくつかお目当の教会や大聖堂があったけど、、ここはノーマークだったな。
ポーランドのクラクフ、聖マリア聖堂。
すっっばらしかった！
クラクフは第二次大戦で焼けなかったから古い建物がそのまま残っているんだけど、本物の風格あるわね。
装飾なんか細かくて素晴らしいし。

あ、沢山行ったので、よかった教会だけご紹介しますよ。

I'm very interested in something mysterious, rituals, etc.
SM thinks so, too.
I often go to churches, shrines and temples.

There were some churches and cathedrals that I wanted to see on this trip, but this one was not marked.
St. Mary's Cathedral, Krakow, Poland.
It was amazing!
Krakow didn't get burned in World War II, so the old buildings are still there.
It had a real elegance.
The decorations were excellent and beautiful.

Oh, I've been seen a lot, so I'll introduce only churches that I liked.



チェコ、プラハの聖ヴィート大聖堂。
ミュシャのステンドグラスが見どころ。

St. Louis's Cathedral in Prague, Czech Republic.
The Mucha stained glass was the highlight.



ここずっと行ってみたかったのよね。
ヴィース巡礼教会。
まるで宝石箱のよう。

I had always wanted to go here.
The Vise Church in Stein Garden, Germany.
It was like a jewellery box.



クリスマスっぽく教会でやるクラシックコンサートなんてのにも行ってきたよ。

I also went to a classical music church concert, because it was a Christmas season.



こういうの初めて！

That was the first time.



そしてチェコのクトナーホラにある墓地教会。
全部人の骨で出来ているの。
すごい迫力だったわ。

A charnel chapel in Kutnahola, Czech Republic.
It's all made of human bones.
It was so powerful.

ローテンブルクの中世犯罪博物館は大層気に入って２日間通ったんだけど、他にもいくつか行きましたよ。
ローテンブルクの風俗資料館的なところ。

I went to the Medieval Crime Museum in Rothenburg for two days because I really liked it, but I also went to some other places.
It is the Rothenburg Town History Museum.
There are a torture room and three small prisons in the basement.



こういうシンプルなのもいいよね。

ニュルンベルク旧市庁舎の地下にも昔実際に使われていたという地下牢があり、見学ツアーに参加したよ。

There were dungeons in the basement of the old city hall in Nuremberg that were actually used in the past, so I took a tour.



たくさんの細い通路とたくさんの牢屋が雰囲気ある。

Lots of narrow passageways and lots of prisons are nice with a dark atmosphere.



チェコのプラハにあった拷問博物館はお化け屋敷風。

The Torture Museum in Prague, Czech was like a haunted house.



効果音もあって、ほんとお化け屋敷！

There was a sound effect, and it's really a haunted house!

中世犯罪博物館・EU旅行記/Medieval Crime and Justice museum・ Travel log in EU 2018

[2018年11~12月に行ったヨーロッパ旅行の話/ Travel log in Europe in Nov. and Dec. 2018]



今回ヨーロッパ旅行で一番行きたかったところ、ローテンブルクの中世犯罪博物館。
拷問器具などの本を読むと、ここ所蔵の器具の写真が結構出てくるのよ。
ここに来れて本当に本当に嬉しかったの！！

I wanted to go to the Medieval Crime Museum in Rotenburg (Mittelalterliches Kriminalmuseum)the most during my trip to Europe.
When I read books about torture instruments, I often see pictures of the devices in this collection.
I WAS REALLY HAPPY TO BE HERE!!



後ろに見えるのは有名なやつ。「鉄の処女」ね。

So cute!



もちろん処刑に使う器具や、痛めつける拷問器具もあったのだけれど、それよりも規則や風紀を乱した者を晒し者にしたり、羞恥を与える精神的な刑罰に使う道具が多かったことにびっくりしました。

There were instruments of execution and instruments of torture which were painful, but I was surprised to find that there were more instruments of moral punishment which exposed those who had disturbed the rules and morals.



それから、これはパンの重さをズルしたパン屋用のお仕置き器具なんだけど、その職業や地位、立場の人専用の拷問器具があるのも面白かったな。

Also, it was interesting to see that there was a torture device for people in that particular profession or position.
This was a tool for a bakery that cheated on the weight of bread.

もっといっぱい写真撮ったし、翌日もう1回見学に行ったので、詳しく話聞きたい方はプレイ時に聞いて。

ごはん・ヨーロッパ旅行記/ Food：Travel log in EU

やっぱり旅行と言えばごはん。
ドイツで食べたかったものはほぼ初日に友達の家に泊まった時にでて来てしまいましてね。。
あれ、なんか最初の１〜２日で満喫しちゃった気がする、、って思って。

右上から時計回りに、ミュンヘンの白ソーセージ、ヴァイスヴルスト。これは皮むいて中身だけ食べ流の。
レザーケーゼ。レバーって言う割にそんなにレバーっぽくないし、これに限らずハム系が全部はんぺんみたいな食感でなんか物足りなかったなあ。
プレッツエル。しっかりした歯ごたえで岩塩がいい感じのパン。

When it comes to travel, food comes to mind.
The food I wanted to eat in Germany were served on the first day when I stayed at my friend's house.
I almost thought I finished enjoying it on the first day.

Clockwise from upper right: Munich's white sausage, Weisswurst. This is just for eating inside after peeling.
Leverkusen. Although it is called liver, it is not so liver-like, and not only this, all the ham type has a texture like happen, I liked harder.
Pretzel. This bread had a firm texture, and the rock salt was nice.




生ハム。これはドイツじゃなくてスペインのハモンイベリコ。うまし。
ピクルスのアスピック。ピクルスのゼリー寄せ。ゼラチンの弾力がとても美味しい。これ一番好き！
ザワークラフト。酸っぱいキャベツの漬物。お肉とのバランスは抜群。

Prosciutto. This was Jamon Iberico from Spain, not Germany. So tasty.
Pickled aspic. Pickled jelly. The elasticity of the gelatin was very delicious. I liked this the best!
Sauerkraft, Sour pickled cabbage. Great balance with meat.



日本ではあまり見かけない生のベリー類。

I was happy to eat them because fresh berries are uncommon in Japan.



もちろんドイツではビールたくさん飲んだけど、もっと美味しかったのはチェコのビール。
このチェスキークルムロフの蒸留所で飲んだビールが一番美味しかったな。

Of course, I drank a lot of beer in Germany, but what was more delicious was the Czech beer.
Sorry.
The beer I had at this Chesky Krumlov distillery was the best.



アップル シュトゥルーデル。いわゆるアップルパイ。リンゴに酸味があって超美味しかった。いろんな店で食べちゃった。

Apple Strudel. So-called apple pie. The apple was sour and very delicious. I ate it at many restaurants.



ひな女王様がベルリンで一番美味しいと言っていたカバブ。めちゃ並んで買ったよ。
野菜やハーブたっぷりで確かに日本のと全然違う。

ごちそうさまでした！

Kabab that Mistress Hina said was the best in Berlin. We lined up to buy it.
It was full of vegetables and herbs, and it was undoubtedly different from Japan.

I enjoyed a lot.
